Runescape Non-Member and Member Blog by D00m113!

By d00m113

Hello! My name is D00m113 and I play RuneScape! These are some tips for noobs about moneymaking, hints, tips, and runecrafting! I am fist starting with moneymaking! These are 2 tips to make money for you noobs! Here they are!

Step 1: First when you enter the real world go across the stone bridge and down the road till you reach a Rat Burgess. When I use bold, italic words that means always look for them and they are important with the game. Do no talk to him because he is a member guy. Read the signpost and head north to the woods. Start cutting down regular trees so make sure you still have your ax. (note: in Lumbridge, go to the bank on the top floor of the castle and put everything except for your ax and tinderbox) now cut down regular trees and keep dropping them. Soon when you are level 15 woodcutting or WC, you can start cutting down the oak trees in the area. Now drop everything but the tinderbox and ax. Get some more logs that will not fill your inventory space but most of it. Then go into town. Go to the Varrock square. You will know it is the square because it is a huge area with a fountain in the middle. Go to the general store that has a pot icon. Make sure you have all of your money. Keep on buying tinderboxes till you run out of money. ( If you run out of inventory space just sell some regular logs so you get enough inventory space for more. Then go to either Varrock big bank or small bank. It depends on how many people are at each bank. Say “Fire making bsale!!!” Bsale here means big sale. Keep on selling till you run out of items. Now you could make a good profit out of this if you keep on doing it! P.S. If you go up more and more WC levels cut down those trees and sell them too!

Step 2: Go to the south of Lumbridge, through the graveyard and follow the dirt road till you reach the mining center. Mine an even amount of copper and tin and go back to Lumbridge. Now find the smelt furnace. Use the tin or copper ore on the smelt. Now you should have some bronze bars. Go to Varrock and across from the big bank is the anvils. Make sure you have your hammer. (if not go back across the road to the bank and retrieve it.) Make some axes, and whatever else you can make at smithing level 1. Now sell all of your stuff you made except for your pickax and keep doing this to make a good profit!

Now these are some noobish tips! Here they are:

Tip 1: If you want to level up very very very fast the dangerous way, read this: Go to the east of Varrock and you will reach a lumber yard. Go past the lumber yard until you reach the Wilderness Ditch. Fight lower level players to gain attack, strength, and defense XP. Those are the main levels to level you up. The safe way is: Become a member and go to Al Kharid. Go to the gate to the west of Al Kharid town and enter it. This is the duel arena! If you get killed in it you will not loose and items. This is just a fun little mini-game to do! Ask someone if you can train on them and if they accept, right click that player and select: Challenge players name. When they accept and you appear in the arena attack them. They should not attack you. If they do you can go around the arena till you find a forfeit trapdoor. Enter it. Now find someone else you can trust and repeat the process! (This has been fixed due to the knew Bounty Hunter mini-game. Stupid Jagex took away pking due to it) Also the Al Kharid duel arena is now non-member so, well, enjoy!

This is the all new section to my site! The non-member quest guide!!!! This guide includes every quest there is to do thats non-member. Mind this that I still have not yet completed Dragon Slayer of Prince Ali Rescue because I am a level 47 and will get owned fighting a level 85 dragon and Prince Ali Rescue is messing up my mind whenever I even try to do it. I will manage both of those quests when I become a much, much, much higher level and when my brain has had a little rest from seeing how many items needed there are. Well here they are!

Black Knights Fortress:

Difficulty: Average

Requirements:Must be able to withstand an auto seen attack from a level 33 black knight.

Skill levels: None.

Items required: Cabbage(not from Draynor Manor), Bronze med helm, and an iron chainbody.

Reward: 3 quest points and 2500 coins.

Where you can start it: Speaking to Sir Amik Varze at the White Knight Castle in Falador.

1: Go to the White Knight city of Falador and find Sir Amik Varze in a tower room somewhere in the castle. Speak to him. He will tell you about the Black Knights and how they are up to no good with a plan thinking about destroying Falador and taking it for their own!

2: Go to the Black Knights Fortress just east of the Ice Mountain, near the Oracle. Go to the front door and try to open it. It will be locked. Go around to the door with all the guards not dressed as black knights are. Try opening it. It will be open but one guard will stop you before you enter. Put on your bronze helmet and iron chainbody. Then try entering the door. Good job you fooled the guards! Now go across the room and ignore the black knight who will attack you. Find the tower with no door that has a ladder in it anyway. It will say “push on” wall. Do it. Climb up the ladders until you reach the top floor. Then go to the other ladder and climb down it. Open the door south-east of you. Open the door and climb the ladder leading to a smaller room. You will be in a room with a black knight. Go find the eastern ladder and climb down it. Now you will be in a small chapel, showing that the black knights worship Zamorak. Open the other door and run past the black knight. Open the door and you will be in a small storage room with a little grill looking into room with a black knight commander and a witch. Put your cursor on the grill and select “listen in” grill. The witch will be talking to the commander and a small goblin. Apparently, she is making a weapon and is on the step to making their weapon invincible. The last ingredient is a cabbage. Not just any ordinary cabbage like the one you are holding but a magic cabbage from draynor manor. She will send the goblin off to fetch the cabbage.

3 : Since you don’t have a cabbage from draynor manor, your cabbage will destroy the weapon, not make it invincible. That is how you must destroy the weapon. Go back down to the main floor and go to the large door that a guard is guarding. Select “Open” door. The guard will warn you that if you enter the meeting room the black knights will kill you, as they kill anyone who enters. Go in anyway. One knight will attack you but run past him. Go up the ladder and go to the room with no door and find a wall where you can select “push” wall. Inside the room you will see a small pipe leading into the room with the witch. This is the pipe where the goblin is supposed to drop his magic cabbage. Instead, you drop yours into it. Make sure you bring more than one cabbage cause if you don’t, you might accidentally select “eat” instead of “use” cabbage. Drop the cabbage in the pipe and a cut scene will show the weapon invisibility potion blowing up.

4:Report back to Sir Amik Varze to claim your reward!

Pot of Flour: Go to the pin with all the sheep in it near the general store. Keep following the road until you reach a wheat field. Demon slayer:

Difficulty: Hard

Requirements: Must be able to kill a level 37 demon.

Skill levels: None

Items needed: 1 coin and 25 regular bones

Reward: 3 quest points and Silverlight so in the future you can kill demons easier! (if you loose Silverlight, you can get it back from Sir Prysin)

Where to start: Speaking to Gypsy Aris at the fortune- teller booth/tent in the Varrock square.

1: At the Gypsy’s tent, ask her to read you your fortune. She will say “cross a silver across my palm, and I’ll tell you your fortune”. Give her your 1 coin and a cut scene will show a knight in the Dark Wizards circle(which used to be The Stone Square). All of a sudden a great demon will appear, trying to destroy Varrock. It will show the paladin killing the demon with the magical sword, Silverlight. The Gypsy will be in shock when she stops reading your palm. She will say that you are the one who is destined to kill the great demon, Delrith. She will say that you should go talk to Sir Prysin and retrieve the magical sword called Silverlight from him, for he was the grandson of the paladin who killed Delrith the first time.

2: Go to the palace. To the left of the front stairs is Sir Prysin’s room. Either he will be in his room or he will the walking the wall around it. When you find him, talk to him. Ask him if you can have Silverlight but he will say there is a problem with that. King Roald made him lock away the sword for safe keeping and it has 3 keys to it. Ask him if you can have the keys. He will say that he has 1 key, the guard captain has another, and the wizard at the wizards tower near Draynor village has the last. Ask him for his key. Ugh! Another problem! He was clumsy enough to drop the key right down the kitchens drain. Go over to the kitchen and climb the stairs. In one rooms you will see a bucket. Go pick it up. Now go back downstairs and fill up the bucket in the sink. Now go out the door leading to the bear cage. You will see a drain on the wall next to the door. Inspect it. Now pour the water down the drain and you will hear a soft “clink”. Go to the eastern side of the palace and you will be on the street where the museum is. You will see a small manhole next to an abandoned home. Open it and climb down.

3: Sewer key

The key is where I printed “key” on this map.

Search the mud. The key will be in there.

4: The next closest key is at the guard captain: Go to the area where you found Sir Prysin. Along that wall is a guard tower filled with guards. On the second level of it is a lot of bunks so you will know that you are in th right tower. At the top of the tower is Captain Rovin. Tell him about the Gypsy’s vision and how you need his key. It will take a bit of persuading but he will finally give in and hand you the key. Now only one key left!

5: Go to the 2nd level of the wizards tower. Here is where your bones come in. Remember you need 25 of them. Talk to Traiborn who is the wizard who owns the 3rd and last key. Give him the bones and he will conduct a spell. A big magic wardrobe will pop up as fast as a Drill Demon random event. He will open it up and take out the key, giving it to you. Now you have all the keys and it’s time to face the demon!

6: Go back to the palace and talk to Sir Prysin. Give him the keys and he will enter his room and unlock a display case holding Silverlight. He will give Silverlight to you. Go back to Gypsy Aris. Ask her what the spell to send Delright back to the Abyss is. Get out a pad of paper and a pencil. Write down what she says so you don’t forget. Now go to the dark wizards circle.

7: In a cutscene, it will show the wizards uttering an evil spell. On the stone slab in the center, Delrith the Demon with come out, and attack you. Attack him back, he only has 7 hitpoints (poor guy). Once he’s dead say the spell that you wrote down that Gypsy Aris told you. For everyone it has at least an “aber” “carinthum” and there are 2 more but I can’t remember them. Once the spell is said right, the demon will leave!

2: Go inside the manor and climb up the stairs to the top floor. Inside the top floor room you will see a chicken and an inventor-like-guy. Talk to him and ask about Ernest. He will say that the chicken over in the corner is Ernest. Ask him to change Ernest back. He will say ok but he needs the pieces he lost from the machine. He will say there is an oil can, a rubber tube, and a pressure gauge. Go back downstairs to the second floor. go around to the room with the fish food and take it. Go back down to the first floor and in the kitchen is a bottle of poison. Take it. Use the poison with the fish food and you will get poisoned fish food. Go out southwest of the manor until on your mini map a dark square appears. That is the fountain. Pour the poisoned fish food in and you will kill the snakes in there. Search the fountain and you will find a pressure gauge.

3: Now for the rubber tube: Go into the room that has another exit door into it and take the spade. Now go out to the back where the gallows and cabbages are. There should be a pile of compost. Dig your spade into it and you should get a key. Now go back inside.

4: Go to the main front steps. To the left of it should be a small closet room with a skeleton(level 24). Go unlock the closet door and the skeleton will attack you, depending on your level. Take the rubber tube from the closet and exit.

5: Oil Can: This is the hardest one to get. Go to the room with the bookshelves where you can see another room with no doors to get in. Select “search” bookcase and the bookcases should open and you will enter the room. Now go down the ladder in there. This is the basement and at the back is a cage with the oil can inside. I would suggest you use another site to find out what levers to pull or else it’ll mess up my mind again and all the longer till i do Prince Ali Rescue.

6: Ok now you have everything needed. Head back upstairs to the inventor and tell him you have it. He will take the items and turn Ernest back into a human! Go outside and talk to Veronica. She will be very pleased!

Now it’s up to you to find it! Ask the squire where he lost it. He says he doesn’t know(clumsy eyes). Ask him who made it and he will say the Imcando Dwarves. Some of the best smiths in the land! Accept to help him, and be on your way. But first go inside the castle and go to Sir Vyvin’s room. First go to the first floor and climb the ladder directly in front of you. Then go in the room with the little gap in the wall so you can enter. Climb up the stairs in that room to get in Vyvin’s room. Enter his bedchamber and you will see a golden cupboard. Make sure Sir Vyvin’s not looking. Take the picture inside the cupboard.

2: Go to Reldo, the Varrock palace librarian as you remember from The Shield of Arrav quest! Ask him about the Imcando Dwarves. If you are still doing the Shield of Arrav at the part where to find the book, he will only talk about that. He will say that the last remaining dwarf is living by Port Sarim.

3: Go to a giant hill in between Rimmington and Port Sarim. It is marked by a ! because a place is down there but I will speak of it no more. In front of the hill cliff thing is Throgo’s home. Speak to him and ask him to make you a new sword. He says he will need a picture. Give him the picture you took from Sir Vyvin. He will say that he needs 4 iron bars and 2 blurite ores to make it. Now if you want your own blurite sword get 8 iron bars and 4 blurite ores. He will only make you one as well if you ask nicely. Go back on top of the hill and enter the cave. You will first be at muggers. go along the hall till you reach pirates. Keep going along till you find the hobgoblins. Keep going into the snowy area to the blurite rocks. Mine 2 or 4 of them. Depends if you want a blurite sword or not. Once you have your ores, run back to Throgo and he will make you a blurite sword.

4: Take the sword back to the squire. He will be so happy that he didn’t get in trouble!

Runecrafting

For some people, runecrafting is a challenge. But here is how to do it! (You must have completed Rune Mysteries to unlock this skill)

Go talk to either Sedridor(leader of the Wizards Tower) or Aubury(owner of the magic shop in Varrock)

Right click and select “teleport”Sedridor or “teleport” Aubury.

Now you will appear at the Rune Essence mine. Mine some essence and find the portal so you can exit.

Now go find a mysterious ruin. It depends on what your runecrafting level is for what rune you can make. Right now you are level one, so lets make some air runes. Go find the air temple south of Falador. Use your essence on the temple and you will be teleported to a newer temple. Use your essence on the stone table in the middle. Now you will have your rune!

Here are the locations of the other rune temples:

Mind: North of Falador

Water: Inside the Lumbridge Swamp

Earth: By the Varrock lumberyard

Fire: By the entrance to the Al Kharid duel arena

Body: West of Barbarian Village

Member only: Cosmic: Inside the lost city of Zanaris by the wheat field

Chaos: Found in wilderness level 9 by the Edgeville ditch

Members: Astral: Moonclan Island

Members: Nature: At the Northern gate to Shilo Village

Members: Law: In the North-Western corner of Entrana Island

Members: Death: Inside the ancient Temple of Light

Those are all of the places you can craft runes

This is most of my site but now I’m going to start making movies. If you want to join one feel free but here are the requirements:

Requirements: Must have seen The Lord of the Rings, must have been playing since the 2007 Halloween event.

That is all! If you want to join go to the Varrock square any time after 4:15. I have school too so we need to do it about then. Hope you can make it!

Hello! I am extremely happy today! A new members skill has come out today Wednesday, January 15, 2008 . Luckily I am a member and I got to finish the quest

Wolf Whistle. Here is a guide if you become a member and want to do the quest:

Wolf Whistle:

Difficulty: Easy

Requirements: None

Skill levels: None

Items needed: Wolf bones (not really, they are obtained during the quest)

Reward: Ability to do the Summoning skill! 275 gold charms, and 276 xp for summoning

Where to start: Talk to Pikkupstix in his house in Taverly

1: Go to Taverly and speak to Pikkupstix. Randomly you will hear a “crash” or a “bang” from upstairs. Apparently a little bunny rabbit it making all that ruckus! Ask him if he wants you to kill the bunny. He will say go ahead and try.

2: Now go up the ladder and a cutscene(yay) will happen. You will turn around and see it’s not a fuzzy little bunny at all! It is a Wolpertinger. Apparently it’s a bit large… Go back down the ladder and speak to Pikkupstix again. Ask him how to kill it. He will introduce you to the Summoning skill! To kill it you need a spirit wolf. The Wolpertingers are scared of Spirit Wolves and that is the bunny side of them! To make a Spirit Wolf you need the right materials. He says the only item he’s missing are 2 wolf bones. Now go up to the White Wolf Mountain and go up the path that gets browner with dirt. You will see a dead body on the path. Search it. The body will have: 2 burnt lobsters, something else, and 2 wolf bones! Take the bones back to Pikkupstixs and he will hand you some charms, 2 pouches, and some spirit shards. Then he will hand you a key to open the trapdoor. Go and open the door and climb down he ladder. You will come to a room with the obelisk.

3: Use the obelisk to make a wolf pouch. Then use your second pouch to make into spirit wolf scrolls. Go back upstairs to the Wolpertinger and in another cutscene you will summon a spirit wolf. Then use the wolfs special attack on your screen: Howl. The wolf will howl very loudly and the Wolpertinger will start to fade away. So will the Spirit Wolf. Go back down to Pikkupstixs.

4: Talk to him and you will say that you’re dizzy. Thats what happens when you run out of summon points, just like prayer. Go down to the obelisk and right click and select the “renew points” obelisk. Now go back up and talk to Pikkupstix.

Quest complete! You are now level 4 summoning and can summon a dreadfowl, which is a weird looking chicken.

The new RuneScape title page!

This is a picture of the new Runescape title page!

I stole it from Fred the farmer… seriously…

Look at my new pet! I stole him from Fred the farmer! (this is a Dreadfowl Fred summoned, seriously…)

Hello, I haven’t been editing lately, sorry for the delay… But now if you are a member and thought that summoning will take a lot of money, think again! Thanks to Jagex, the price for spirit shards has been lowered to about 25gp each now! Just thought I’d fill you in on this stuff if you didn’t know already!

Sorry! Sorry Runescape players, but this is the end of my blog. By now you should have read everything and become a master at Runescape!

Zamorak, Saradomin, and Guthix greetings.
